Even though it's the favorite subject of the tabloids, it's sometimes hard to remember that celebrities are just like us. Maybe it's because you never see celebrities with mustard stains all over their shirts (like us) or eating a block of cheese and watching "iCarly" (like us) or crying while looking in the mirror (like us). But the message is true; celebrities really are just like us. And just like us, celebrities have crushes on celebrities. Sometimes they're unsurprising, like Miley Cyrus' crush on Jared Followill, and other times they're strange, like Carey Mulligan's crush on Mario Lopez. But they're always entertaining, because, just like us, everything celebrites do is entertaining.

Celeb: J Cole
Crush: Scarlett Johansson
The Story: According to an interview J. Cole did with Funkmaster Flex, the North Carolina MC has a thing for Scarlett Johansson. "I'mma take it to left field, not really left field, but Scarlett Johansson, bro," he told Flex, when asked about his celebrity crush. "I coulda went Halle Berry, but I gotta pull out Scarlett Johansson 'cause she's that thorough."
Chance they'll ever get together: Highly doubtful. You know, since she's been happily married to Ryan Reynolds since 2008. And, really, do you think a girl would mess around on the Green Lantern? We wouldn't.
Celeb: Scarlett Johansson
Crush: President Barack Obama
The Story: Even though President Obama's approval rating is down across the country, it's still pretty high with Scarlett Johansson. The smokin' hot blonde was smitten with Obama before most of us even knew who the Democrat was. Back in 2008, she joked with reporters, saying, "I am engaged to Barack Obama. My heart belongs to Barack."
Chance they'll ever get together: Again, she’s married. And so is the President, not that that's stopped presidents before. But seriously, we don't see them getting together. What we do see, though, is how diesel the First Lady’s biceps are, which we’re sure Scarlett has noticed too.
Celeb: Ke$ha
Crush: Rihanna
The Story: After laying eyes on Rihanna at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, Ke$ha was so taken by the pop star that she had to tweet her affection. "Cannes. Was a pleasure, Rihanna is my new crush. Jeeez she's perfect."
Chance they'll ever get together: While our fingers are more than tightly crossed that they'd make this happen, we've got to admit that it probably won’t. But hey, if it does, just imagine how beautiful the music they make would be.
Celeb: Rihanna
Crush: Chester Bennington (Linkin Park)
The Story: It's plain and simple: Rihanna has a thing for bad boys. Or at least boys who look like they'd be bad, à la Chester Bennington. When asked by People magazine who her celeb crush was, there was no hesitating on Rihanna's part: "Chester from Linkin Park. He’s hot."
Chance they'll ever get together: Bennington is married right now, but since this is his second maybe it won't last forever. And Rihanna has been dating Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp for a while now. So we're marking this one down as doubtful.
Celeb: Miley Cyrus
Crush: Jared Followill (Kings of Leon)
The Story: Back in February 2009, Miley Cyrus let Rolling Stone in on a secret while at the Grammys: "[Jared Followill's] pretty good-looking," she said of the Kings of Leon bassist. And she’s been smitten with the rocker's baby blues ever since.
Chance they'll ever get together: Pretty darn good. Remember, little miss Miley has a penchant for the older boys and Followill is six years her senior. Oh, and they were seen flirting it up earlier this week at the 2010 MTV EMA after-party. So yeah, it's pretty much on, right?
Celeb: Carey Mulligan
Crush: A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez)
The Story: Now that Carey Mulligan is single–-see ya later, Shia–-the Oscar-nominated actress is gushing about her celebrity crushes, mainly A.C. Slater. "He hosts a show, and every time, all the way through awards season, every time we did a red carpet and I saw A.C. Slater I was like a complete disaster," she nervously babbled to the LA Times. "I went bright red...and they make you stand really close to these people, uncomfortably close, and because of the camera angles and I was always within sort of kissing distance. Every one of my dreams has come true this year, including that."
Chance they'll ever get together: Another highly doubtful hook-up here. Mainly because A.C. Slater is a fictional character.
Celeb: Frankie Muniz
Crush: Rachel McAdams
The Story: Thank you, Twitter. If it weren't for you we would never have known that Frankie Muniz's crush on Rachel McAdams is still smoldering. "Have to admit... 'Morning Glory' was really good.... Rachel McAdams is still my celebrity crush..." he tweeted just this week.
Chance they’ll ever get together: Maybe if it were 2003, when people knew who Muniz was, the "Malcolm in the Middle" star may have had a chance. No, wait, he would have been 17 and McAdams, 25, and the whole cougar thing wasn’t the cool thing to do yet. Sorry, Frankie.
